The Hypodermic Needle Model
This model theory was established in the 1930's. The model is supposed to show how people are automatically persuaded and affected by whatever it is that the mass media always comes out with. Supposedly with this model it shows how people are powerless to resist what the media gives. Just like a vaccine once the needle is in all of the contents just effortlessly flow into you and you can't really escape it. This shows just how powerful and dangerous media can be depending on what kind of message they're trying to get across.
